this is a little bit me procrastinating studying for a final and mostly me just wanting to tell you that I've followed you here for years and you were a big inspiration for me going into STEM! I love seeing posts about your life, like aw hey Jen's doing okay. You are such a genuine and cool person, it's been so wonderful getting to tag along on your life's journey and I hope something nice happens to you today :)

@gibsonwitch study! (finals are the worst but like i remember the wild look in my ಠ_ಠ and highlighters strewn everywhere... actually i still do that at work now with TAR planning and LOTOs.... so finals will prepare you for on-site work)

my insta is full of my mundane life as an engineer outside of work (so homecooking, plants and whatever free time i have)

(today i am taking a day off because for the last 2 months i was working straight so i need a day because yesterday a water pipe onsite broke and i was like, lol this is bad but also hilarious and so lucky it was warm out because that meant it was a waterpark not a skating rink disaster)

irradiated mountain lions also MOOSE with like. their entire head is covered in antlers. or they're like the sleipnir with extra limbs. definitely harder to kill than a deathclaw.

my brain knows that they couldn’t possibly shed their giant antler horn head but my heart wants that velvet-shedding aesthetic :(

there are so many more options when your scripted dialogue isnt voiced. fnv, fo3, even dragon age origins, and pillars of eternity (not bethesda but my point still stands) all let the player create such an interesting and original character

oh yeah, absolutely. tbh i’m not into voiced dialogue anyway, because it’s inherently limiting (based on who the voice actors are and how they present the characters - in fo4′s case, the sole survivor is going to sound like a white, cis suburban 30/40-something no matter what)

so i've been ruminating on this message for a while now and in light of that anon im just gonna send it, may not be super articulate but here goes. ive followed you for probably a couple years now, and it makes my heart just swell to see how happy you are now!! i can remember some dark days and nights and seeing that you're living your best life, that you're loved, gives me a little hope for myself but also, mainly, i'm so happy for you. don't let the turkeys get you down <3
