Maybe Watermelon Tourmaline is a Fusion?

I know that it’s very unlikely that any of the uncorrupted gems are fusions but uhh, I think Watermelon Tourmaline very likely could be one. I do not think there would be any big episodes with her as a focus specifically, so we might never know for sure, but she’s the only formerly corrupted gem shown so far that has extra appendages

I’m like, 90% sure she has four arms, but since Watermelon Tourmaline is exclusively a background character, and she’s seen only in Little Homeworld (which is not too prominent of a location either), it’s hard trying to find any scenes with her present to begin with, let alone a scene that shows her prominently enough to see her entire body.

Another thing that I think is really interesting is that Watermelon Tourmaline is also one of the only gems shown to have different forms from Change Your Mind to the movie. Given her size, and how dangerous Little Homeworld under construction can get (seen in the scene in the movie when Steven returns to Little Homeworld with Ruby, Sapphire, and Spinel, and Spinel accidentally turns on a weapon and Ruby, along with the Heaven and Earth Beetles, are briefly put in danger) Watermelon Tourmaline’s potential components likely aren’t too resilient, and it’s not unreasonable to assume that she could have poofed at least once in between those two years.

Not really much of a theory or anything like that, but regarding the designs of gems that aren’t fusions, Watermelon Tourmaline makes for a very intriguing character 

additionally, I love that she’s seen around the same jasper in all(?) of her appearances. Could they be close friends, or maybe they knew each other before their involvement with the gem war?

Whoaa a pre-release clip of the movie that’s so cool, I guess

Yeah I don’t really see anyone talking about the clip so I might as well link it here I guess? If someone already did so, don’t scalp me, I just want to link it for everyone else who’s seemingly living underneath a rock like me.

Alright so this is advertised as the “”first exclusive clip”” of the movie which, honestly sounds very underwhelming. I was really expecting more clips of the movie to come out after release, honestly, like what CN seemingly does for other episodes of su (I didn’t even think there’d be a second unique trailer for the movie, but ah well). I guess for some people getting as much pre-release footage as possible is what they desire but honestly I still rue the day that I watched the Toonami ad, so seeing this clip come out garnered a lukewarm “ah that’s cool I guess” from me.

From what I’ve seen, it doesn’t seem like it’s much of anything new. It’s not a scene from the climax of the movie, where the pink gem reveals she’s actually Steven’s aunt, or something, or a scene showing off the long-awaited fusion between Onion and Yellow Diamond, it’s from a scene that has already been shown off very well in both trailers. The clip is seemingly just the scene about Steven relaxing with the other gems, and then the crazy pink crackhead gem comes down with her injector and plants it into the hill.

Anyway overall I am withering away with anticipation for the movie, and those who would wish to see the clip will end up just melting from excitement for the movie.
