Ok so this might sound...really weird. But back when I was in the SU fandom, Spinearl started to get super popular, and I think we had a Discord server for it? And somehow, along the way, a human AU of them got around; I can't remember the specifics, but it had something to do with Chuck E. Cheese?? I kind of love that we truly have no understanding of why Rose left Spinel in the Garden. I can think of a million reasons as why Rose left her but there is no real confirmation about which one is true. And I like it mainly because the reason why Rose left Spinel doesn’t matter. Whether Spinel was genuinely forgotten about or was abandoned with purpose it’s not about Why Rose did it it’s about what she did and the effect it had on Spinel. It’s about how Spinel perceived Pink’s abandonment and then discovery of what Pink abandoned her for (protecting humanity and other gems beside her). We know just as much about Roses reason for abandoning Spinel as Spinel does— nothing.
