13 - Where or from whom did you learn how to gif
so i learned to use paintshop pro when i was in my early teens and had made gifs that way which i kind of just taught myself? like i might have looked up a few things back then but i don't think it was much because well when i was a teenager tumblr wasn't even a thing 🙈 and then when i was in my senior year i took a graphic design class because that actually used to be what i wanted to do so i learned how to gif in photoshop. however, i hadn't done it years because i turned to editing fan vids. those can just a) take a long time & b) sometimes there's just a scene i want to see in gif form so i decided to do it myself.
32 - What is your favorite tool/adjustment layer in Photoshop
hmm this a good question...i think without fail i always use a gradient map layer because it is just helpful with skin tones so i guess that one
40 - Why do you make gifs
so i did kind of touch on this in 13 but like the reason i haven't given it up is because i like sharing things with people, i like the community that has grown around around it. also there's liz who makes me tag them in everything even if they're not watching it and i imagine it's how my preschoolers feel when they draw two lines on paper and ask me if i like it and i ask them what it is before i pay them a compliment on it, again it's just about sharing something that i like with other people and being able to talk about it. (also i'm not good with words and cohesive thoughts so writing meta and/or fanfiction is just not for me)
