2: What is your least favorite set you’ve madehmmmm i don’t even know! most of my old ones i look at and go ugh, especially the early ones they really make me cringe. sorry, i don’t think i’m gonna post any of those here XD but maybe like, to be most specific, i really hate making sets from season 5, and any that ive made including certain scenes from there are def on the top of my least favorite list.

8: What gif trend do you hatei don’t know if i really hate anything but like, i prefer colorful sets. i don’t really know about any trends tbh.

45: Ever gotten hate over a setyou know, not that i can think of? i’ve gotten into some conflict over people commenting on my sets, obviously, but no hate about anything i’ve made as far as i know! i’ve definitely made sets that probably bothered some people, but that’s shipping preferences and just stupid bullshit so i wouldn’t call it hate.

49- How much would you say you’ve improved since you first started giffing

hooooooooo my god it’s a whole new world. i started giffing with this “giffing tool” thingie that took snaps of video playing on my screen. then i used some rando websites to make the gifs. god they were horrible. it got better when i got photoshop, but it didn’t really get reasonable until i figured out how to sharpen and color properly! took fukn long enough tbh

4- A set that flopped but deserved better

this is hard cuz i think i’ve made a lot of little sets that didn’t do as well as they should’ve. i feel like i’ve literally made hundreds of sets so i’m sure there are tons, but mainly my scott gifsets don’t get enough love :( and certainly any set i make of a character that’s not stiles, and that doesn’t have a specific point to it, if that makes sense. also sometimes i make something i think is funny but not many other people seem to so… those flop. im sorry im just gonna go look for a couple examples cuz why not.

sometimes i’m real disappointed with the notes on things i worked really hard on that i thought would do better.like my 5k event. or some of the color porn that i actually really like (damn i wish i had a tag for my own color porn but there have five)

42: How is your gif folder organized? Is it organized at all?

so it’s a huge mess because i’ve had to start over so many times but i try to keep the folders by character/ship/actor name. my other hard drive has a much better system, but i just never merged and now it’s a mess over here. i have solo folders for weird things that don’t fit. and i have random crossover folders scattered around. within the main folders tho things are a bit more organized, usually by season/episode for characters, and then by names of scenes or quotes for the other kinds of sets. dear god it’s more disorganized than my brain (even tho it may not sound like it) and is actually a great representation of how i deal with that.

43: Do you keep videos forever or delete them once you’re done giffing

well my teen wolf videos are mine so no, i don’t delete them, but i don’t keep any other videos longer than a couple minutes cuz they take up way too much space. especially if it’s something i’ve downloaded and can download again, i just take what i think i might use in the future and delete the video. like those super long comic con ones. no way i need to keep those. now do i keep every tiny little stupid gif and psd i made? umm... no comment. you didn’t even ask. shut up.Questions for gif-makers

hi, I really love your gifs and I was wondering what do you use to make them and if you had to pay for it. I really want to start making edits myself, for different stuff but the only free program I have doesn't allow much wrt editing tools

hey, and thank you ♡ I use photoshop cc which is a monthly subscription, you can get discounts if you’re a student which is good and it gives you access to all the other adobe programs which is a plus. But having said that there are also “other means” of obtaining older versions of photoshop, you can do just about the same on photoshop cs5 or cs6 so it’s really up to you on which photoshop you want
