9: Blastoise, Mega Blastoise, Gigantamax Blastoise

Type: Water

Ability: Torrent (HA: Rain Dish | Mega: Mega Launcher)

Known as a brutal pokémon. Cannons protrude from a blastoise’s shell. It can shoot highly pressurized and accurate water out of these cannons hard enough to cut through steel. Due to these strong blasts, it plants its tough legs hard in the ground to withstand the recoil. Aside from these cannons, it also relies on its weight to crush its foes. When needed, it can quickly withdraw into its shell. The cannon becomes as strong as a tank gun upon its mega transformation. Upon its gigantamax transformation, the accuracy of its water blasts is much lower. It shoots water out of its 31 cannons repeatedly. The main cannon has enough pressure to blast a hole in a mountain.

I really love the designs for Frosmoth & Centiscorch and I'm assuming they'll be version counterparts...

However, seeing that Centiscorch recieves a Gigantamax form and Frosmoth doesn't is leading me to believe that Gigantamax Frosmoth was cut so that Butterfree could be given a new 'Mothraesque' form cos of GF's Kanto favouritism in lieu of it being given to Frosmoth.

I hope this is not the case... but if they do turn out to be version exclusives and Frosmoth is still lacking a gigantamax form upon release.... I just hope GF doesn't continue a trend of giving Kanto pokemon more attention at the expense of new pokemon.

Is it just me, or do they totally look like Rodan and Mothra????

Pokemon Sword & Shield sequel ideas

The games have only been out for about a month, and I think these games should get a sequel.

Why, because I feel it would be a waste of potential these game can offer.

Reasons would be the other gym leaders, Galar has gym leaders for each type.

In canon Galar always changes which gym leaders can participate in the league challenge. The games sell you the other type uniforms too.

There are 18 types, sword & Shield uses 10 types together while 4 are version exclusive. That only leaves 8 types left unused.

New Gigantamax forms can be added without conflicting with the lore.

The other halves of the fossil Pokemon can be added too.

Adding more combinations and the fossil pokemon’s true complete form.

That’s all I can think of that doesn’t retcon or conflict with the lore.

4 New Gigantmax Forms! Pokemon Sword and Shield News! (+ New Trailer Soon!)

Corocoro (a japanese magazine if you’re not familiar) just leaked 4 new gigantamax forms to us hours before a trailer is supposed to drop at 9 AM ET and it’s very exciting!

Eevee looks so fluffy and precious, Pikachu is all fat and retro-like, Meowth is…well, interestingly strectchy (LMFAO), and Charizard looks absolutely cool. (despite it being covered in flames lol) Pikachu being its retro fat self pretty much confirms one of the leaks we got (can’t remember if its the Ben Affleck leak or not). On a side note, regarding the gigantamax Meowth, I feel like memes will start invading the internet soon. Looks a bit like the famous longcat.

At least it didn’t get the Alolan Persian treatment. Let’s leave that disturbing thing in the past.
