How Can People Put In Sweat Equity When They Are Living In A Community?
a relative of my dad's cousin (and, y'know, ergo me) was asking about genealogical records and I was able to send them a file that goes back to the 1700s in giggleswick (uk). not bad.

We Drove North
Got home yesterday after a family holiday in Scotland. We drove up to the Highlands, over to Skye, and then on to Lewis and Harris, aka the Outer Hebrides.
Probably the most remote places I’ve been in my limited travels.
Stunning natural landscapes, mixed with the evidence of a human population that has grown and shrunk and grown again.
Saw otters in the wild. That was cool.
Didn’t photograph them, so that memory is just for me.
Here are some memories I’ll allow you to share, though.
All photos shot on my old Fuji X sporting a Soviet-era Jupiter 8 lens.
Olympic medallist triathlete Jonny Brownlee was at Giggleswick School on Friday (November 16) to open a new state of the art fitness centre. The fitness suite occupies a purpose-built, 120sq m extension to the school's sports hall complex and features the latest in weights, strength and conditioning training equipment as well as top-end treadmills, cycle trainers, rowing machines and other cardio-vascular training aids. Jonny Brownlee, the younger of the two Brownlee brothers, from Leeds, dropped in to Giggleswick to look round the new facility and officially declare it open. The suite has been made possible thanks to a legacy from former pupil, Mike Hartley, whose sons, Gary and Steven, joined Jonny at the opening. #johnnybrownlee #fitness #fitnessmotivation #olympicmedalist #giggleswick #giggleswickschool (at Giggleswick School) https://www.instagram.com/p/BqxLACDnKg8/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1iuv65ax6kxot

Awesome day out climbing in the Dales! Lead my first sport route, normally a trad man or out bouldering.
