Watched the third season of Anne with an E today, which feels appropriate for Canada Day. It’s truly amazing and portrays many historical events that happened in Canada and that are usually not discussed. The one I found to be the most important and heartbreaking was about residential schools because I know of them and I knew the ending would not be positive, that Anne could not miraculously solve the problem because it has not really been solved to this day. I am ao dissapointed that such a great adaptation of a classic Canadian story has been cancelled.
