Happy birthday Gil! The official account posted today to celebrated his birthday, which falls on February 12th

Fun fact: Gil’s birthday is the same as the battle of the Herrings which took place during the siege of Orléans, but more importantly to his character, it was also the date upon which Jeanne D’arc would meet with Robert de Baudricourt for the last time, as he would finally acquiesce to her demands for a sponsor as she journeyed to the Dauphin in Chinon, allegedly thanks to her providing info that the battle of the Herrings would not go in the favor of the French army, despite her having no way of knowing that on the day of the attack, and despite the French army greatly outnumbering the English supply convoy while also being afforded a wide, flat, unobstructed plain on which to make their attack.

Another fun fact: Gil’s name would be pronounced with a J sound, making it sound like Jill. It also means “bright promise” :) I think it’s a name that compliments Ray’s perfectly, both in its meaning and in its relation to French historical figure Gilles de Rais, who was Jeanne D’arc’s comrade in arms and most famous for his alleged serial kidnapping and murder of young children.

Dude ever since this new servamp phase i’ve grown so many new appreciations towards pairs that i before didnt care too much for,

For example- sloth pair, i’ve been using their panels a lot in edits recently and unintentionally ended up reading a lot of their arcs and dude- they- 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 these fucking babies dude these little goobers - these precious little guys☹️☹️☹️

Also- in working on making the rest of the servamp cast in gacha and am basically making a moodboard of all references i have and just- gil and ray duddddeeeeuhhhh🥺🥺🥺🥺💔💔💔💔💔☹️☹️☹️😞😞😞 theyre so CUTEEEEE😭😭😭😭😭 like guys 💔
