What happens when the group's only healer gets hurt?
Redraw of a sketch from last year :> I'm happy with the improvement. Comparison under the cut.

Casteel and Poppy lowkey solving the over population problem in Atlantia by mass-murdering 😂🤪
TATTOOS The option for witches and warlocks (casters) to have tattoos has always been there. Tattoos, using special inks, help casters to focus their energies and give them some additional potencies they would otherwise be lacking if they were without (like, say, a protective rune tattooed on their ribcage would give them a little bit more immunity against attacks/offensive spells, etc.). Casters are allowed to, if they wish, get their first tattoo at the age of fifteen. It is, by no means, a requirement - a lot of witches and warlocks are not inked, and prefer to use pendants and other talismans for focus and heightened ability. However, no one is shamed for the choice of receiving a tattoo. Common tattoos among casters are, but not limited to: moon phases, plant life, animals, runes, solid bands, latin or gaelic phrases, etc. Animated tattoos are a thing, but they have to be hidden - mortals should not be able to see them! They must be coveredor subdued by magic - no exceptions!
We thought it would be fun to introduce out characters through a little evolution timeline :D
Here's Iyan's growth from 2021 till now >D
2021: His creation! There was a sudden boom in piglin oc's in our art circle at the time, and all of them were chronically ill or constantly dying of injury lmao, so a healer piglin was made to help them!
2022: He just kinda became more handsome?? Our affection for him grew and thus he got a glow up i guess xD This is also around the time we started dabbling in developing a story around Iyan, Gilt and Brun called Gilded Bones.
2024: We were heavy in the world-building part of crafting Gilded Bones this year, and had to make the daunting decision to change their coat colours to fit their species better, best decision we ever made ( •̀ v •́ )✧
2025: Most recently we started developing the style we want to draw Gilded Bones in, so the big man was due another revamp! He lost the bulk of his beard but gained a defined snout, magnificent greek god hair and a name tweek from Ivan to Iyan (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
We decided the name 'Ivan' didn't fit the piglin culture we were crafting for Gilded Bones. So after much debate, we changed it to Iyan (pronounced Ay-uhn). It sounds close to Iron, which we thought his caretakers would name him after for his rare light fur.
Local Nether lads discover rain☔✨
