I ngl thought Nugget's nostrils were like. Eyes 😭 I didn't read far enough down on the ref

HAHA that means its trickery worked on you! Since it doesn't actually have eyes it's still better to pretend that it does, kinda like how moths do ↓

Though, rather than scaring off predators (I don't think bears would give a single shit about closed little squinty eyes) they're meant for humans! The eye-looking markings at his nostrils are less uncanny than the full on slenderman face. Now why it's evolved to look more trustworthy to humans I'll leave up to you to theorize HAHA.
