Max is a pretty open but they're definitely keeping a tighter grip on the memories from the last time they saw their parents.

@artuswestwood, When Max was much much younger, Artus helped them get comfortable in thier own skin.

radius. who/what do they reach for first in a crisis ?

@will-rogers & @thejax-reed - they've been Max's family since PC and they're more than happy with that to stay that way.

spine. when do they lose their backbone, what scares them ?

The moment that something they're doing endangers someone they care about. Max has some self sacrifice tendencies...

coccyx / tailbone. what outdated beliefs do they still carry, if any ?

They're pretty progressive given who they are, some could argue that they're a bit oudated in how they feel about covens. But they would just gesture to Rei and Eiji and be like "How does this not prove my point."

patella / kneecap. how compliant/obedient are they, who will they kneel for ?

Max really only answers to the council at this point, and they're only the kneeling type for very ... specific scenarios.. ;)

tarsals. what past mistakes stick with them with every step they take ?

The way their relationship with some of the people they've been with ended. Not that Max is fully aware of it.

sternum. what makes their heart pound hardest ?

Anxiety? lol. They've been in and surrounded by more life changing horrible things in the last 2 years. They haven't watched anything with zombies since Halloween and probably wont for some time. That will get their heart rate to spike.

ribcage. who/what are they trying to protect ?

It'll always be Daphne, Rei, and Will.

phalanges. what is their relationship with touch ?

Max is a phyiscal touch person for the most part, they are quite frequently linking arms with people they know or trust. They will ask for consent early in the relationship. The only time that stops being the case is when they are upset. They will often shrink back and prefer not to touch or be touched.

At like the core of it? A sense of whimsy and a deep desire for a purpose that has greater effect past themselves

fibula. do they ever feel overlooked ?

All the time. In part its of their own making by not being in a coven. However, they *used* to be the tattoo artist for the council and found a lot of purpose in being peoples like introduction to the supernatural. Now they dont have that and are a little listless.

rose : how much does your muse value other people ? do they wish to have many friends , lovers , and/or associates ? are they an easy person to love ?

Max loves their people. They often value their people more than themselves. Which some may call a bad thing but it is just how they are. While they wish to be friends with lots of people they know not everyone feels the same. So they do their best and keep those close that let them in. Love, or lovers, in particular is a hard question. While they find falling in love is easy but falling out of that love when it's not returned is harder. They do their best to keep those feelings from growing to out of hand to fast and has resulted in many flings but few great loves. They hope they are easy to love...

lilac : what was your muse’s childhood like ? how has their upbringing affected them as they’ve aged ?

Max's childhood was rough, a lot of their formative years were spent bullied and hopping from school to school. This has made them quick to form friendships but also quick to bolt or pull into themselves. It also has left them with a maybe overt sense of right and wrong and will say shit if people are being dicks. This has led to more than a few bar brawls.

aloe : how does your muse handle grief _**?

Max's handle on grief is not great, if that wasn't evident in how they handled their parents deaths. They often shutdown for long periods of time and hide at home. Often times they'll come out of it for necessity but still never fully come to terms. Its been a year since their parents deaths and while they no longer cry about it they're often sad about it. In the time since their passing they've been distracted by a lot making it easier to manage.

angelica : where does your muse draw inspiration in life ? what motivates them ?

From Everything. Max was born to be an artist and will never stop. They try as much as possible to paint or tattoo from emotions. But sometimes ya girl just gotta doodle a happy little bee buzzing around. Often times when they loose a muse or focus they'll go for a walk or the museum and just look at people and places to draw from.

carnation : what is your muse’s relationship with their gender ? how do they express or not express this relationship ?

Max is Genderfluid, this was something they knew from a very young age even if they didn't know what that word was yet. After the bullying had their family move to Vievecor, Max had the luck of being mentored by people like Artus to help understand what and who they were and eventually Judas that they adore. They're closet is REDICULOUS. It is broken up into "Fem" and "Masc" for the clothes that just make them feel that particular gender and then a section that's everything else. They often wear pins to help with pronouns, however their favorite is a jumpsuit that looks like a mechanic wears with velcro patches.

edelweiss : what was the bravest moment in your muse’s life ? are they known to be courageous from then on ?

Max doesn't feel brave, like ever, even when staring down a hungry vampire or squaring up with some dumbasses in a bar. That's not bravery that's just not putting up with peoples shit. Coming out didn't feel brave cause everyone knew, it was obvious. Nothing felt brave but if you asked their parents, opening the tattoo shop on their own, remodeling and doing everything with their own two hands was brave. While they never vocally expressed this to them. To Max, they've never really been brave just cocky.

In some ways, yes. More in that there are people that people have their people, but doesn't mean specifically partners. They believe that people like Will, is their soulmate in the way that he is their father.

They don't think that they feel that there is a soulmate as a partner.

Max drives a 1957 Chevrolet 150 that they inherited from their grandfather on their Mom's side and has since refurbished and does the maintenance themselves.
