NEW MULTIVERSE ON THE SCENE

Note: This is a re-writing of my original post that was accidentally destroyed when i accidentally deleted my previous tumblr blog of the same name. (also potentially may make an ask blog, but i'll be working on the au more prominently than trying to make an askblog atm. i want to draw other characters before i make an official askblog) Not informational but a little side note: I have been in the undertale fandom (And the au fandom) since 2016, and once had a pretty integral part in the fandom, one im not exactly willing to be acknowledged for. (Its not anything problematic, i was like 10 at the time.) But i figured that after enough time, i wanted to make my own stupid verse and have a bit of fun. So here's one of the sanses i put into it. (Note: I'll probably make a post about the past and what happened, But try to leave it vague enough, since i genuinely dont want people to harass myself or anyone else potentially involved for answers)

Ok here's the informational section/ QNA What *IS* GildedVerse?: Its basically just my interpretation of the overall multiverse, Having a more "Fluffy" tone overall, but still having angst potential and *The Horrors* of fandom space LOL- Kintsugi isnt the only character that is IN the GildedVerse that will be new to the fandom, and thats fine with me. People are free to insert their characters in, but know they might not be acknowledged as canon. Is this gonna be another "Just Sanses" AU?: Nope! This au plans to add in new characters that arent just sanses, Including dog monsters, Other freaks and more :3 There are two other "Sanses" that will be added though. One being named Printer & the other being called Rogue. Are these characters going to be free use like other popular characters?: Yep! As long as you give credit and tag back to my tumblr we should be fine and dandy. However, I ask that NSFW art of the characters are not posted on tumblr, or if they are, to be using tags that cannot be found accidentally by people not looking for it. Gore is completely fine to be posted in main tags Will there be other popular underverse characters featured?: Yes! I plan on featuring other underverse characters, but things canon to their stories/ sources may not be canon here. Its a more fluff au, so a lot more angsty stuff will either be resolved or left behind. Characters that dont belong to me will be credited at the bottom of posts that they appear in. (Note; Even if i credit a creator, it doesnt mean i support them or am knowledgable about their actions, if theres one thats truly and absolutely problematic, Please do not attack me. I've been outside of the community drama for almost 9 years now.) Will there be a wiki?: I dont know how to make a wiki page, so if you want to just shoot me a dm, and i'm happy to provide any information I can. What inspired you to do this?: I have no projects currently and my hyperfixation on undertale has resurfaced, but no au / multiverse has really scratched the itch I desire to be scratched. There's not many aus that are mainly fluff centric with a little bit of angst and lore here and there. Will there be a fully fledged plot or comic?: Plot? Maybe?? Comic? Probably not. I'm doing this for fun and just drawing Kintsugi's ref and the lore art took 16 hours. Do you plan on monetizing this?: NO, And i ask that people request permission before selling keychains or merch of my characters. I Cannot stop you from doing so, but i ask out of politeness and equal respect from creator to creator. NOW! ONTO THE FUCKING LORE BC I've been procrastinating Designation: S-106. Deemed Kintsugi by friends. Pronouns: They/ It (He/him is accepted, but not preferred) Monster-Type/Species: Modified Skeleton (Draconic) [Sans] Affiliation: "Bad Sanses". Works under Nightmare, Alongside Killer, Horror, Dust & Occasionally Cross. Home AU: The AU is broken and no longer existant, But its been called "Fantasy-Tale" due to its odd Fantasy-like appearance when Nightmare and his crew discovered it. Kintsugi accepts the name but has not clarified if it was accurate or not. Powers: Kintsugi is not like normal "Sanses" As they do not have access to bone magic nor any kind of magic in their primarily Skeletal form. However they have the ability to mildly alter their appearance in the form of changing their wing size between two "Settings" in this form. They also seem to have a remarkable healing capacity, Able to keep limbs even if they are severed, as long as they are pressed back together. Any cuts or injuries form a Golden looking scar, The scars from a "Limb Mending" are much more prominent and visible. They also additionally have a "Dragon" Form, Taking the appearance of a "Small" (For dragons) Golden dragon. Their head seems to be the shape of a Gaster Blaster in this form, which is fitting, as their powers in this form seem to mimic that of a Gaster Blaster, Able to release blasts of energy from their mouth or concentrate balls of energy. All a faint goldish White in coloration.

The only major differences between a classic Gaster Blaster and Kintsugi's Dragon Form's Head is that there are less spikes, and it doesn't split in half on the lower jaw when firing blasts. Additionally a minor difference is that the horns they do have, are the three on top, which are golden in coloration and seem to copy their skeleton form's horns. Sizing: In skeletal form, Kintsugi is 5'5", Slightly taller than your average "Sans" (Being around 5'0" - 5'3") with a wing span of 6'0" (Normal wing size) or 1'5" (Smaller wing size). Their Draconic form hasn't been able to be concretely measured, but is around 12ft and their wingspan is around 35ft. Extra information: Kintsugi seems to molt multiple times in a year, shedding the gold scars if they're small enough or shedding their golden scales from their draconic parts. It seems to be excruciatingly painful for them and often takes a few days or upwards of a week for them to recover without help. It seems the "Bad Sanses" Help with this task, as Kintsugi's recovery time has gone down significantly compared to previous observations. I am unsure how they became this way, But from what I can tell, The amount of JUSTICE they contain is not natural. I'll do more investigating. - >#?!%&*(

Appearance: Note Transcriptions: Kintsugi's Head: They have three horns, One located roughly on the forehead, Slightly shorter than the others, Thinner too. The other two are matching, Slightly curved longer horns on approximately the Temples of their skull. Their eyelights are a golden color, and can get larger and smaller, Even able to squish into Cat-like slits. Their teeth are sharp and fang-like, Think a dragon's mouth, But when drawn only their canines are fangs are really prominent. They can open their mouth, unlike some other "sanses". Golden Cracks on Body: Sustained from former injuries, Even if it wouldn't have scarred, Any cuts to the body (Minus the tails and wings; Which are injured like Flesh would be) form these golden cracks Do not have to be accurate to reference, Can shift around in art. Wings: Normal Wing-Size: Has spikes, a bit fragile. Able to fly with, slightly longer wingspan than the body is long. Cumbersome, Gets in the way. "Energy Saver Mode": About 1/4th typical size, missing spikes, unable to be flown with. Good for emoting, bad for combat and travel. Outfit: Consists of a sleeveless top modified with slits in the back for Kintsugi's wings, Shoulder Guards, Arm warmers, Long gray pants altered for Kintsugi's tail and Combat-boot like shoes Tail: Kintsugi's tail has exactly 6 spikes on their tail, and 4 pairs of "fins" on their tail, (There are 3 main "Frills" on the "finns" allowing it to be mirrored from almost any direction. Spikes are darker than the main scale color, while "finns" are a lighter color.)

The thing was... Shiro loved being so utterly loved by Zarkon, the Emperor of the Universe. Zarkon's devotion, almost like worship, was intoxicating and Shiro was drunk from it. It had been awhile since Shiro had experienced such love.

Since Adam.

Shiro didn't mind that Zarkon kept him hidden away from public's eye, a secret concubine that only a handful of Zarkon's most trusted knew. After all, Zarkon was the most powerful man in the Universe --- he had enemies who wished to destroy him and everything he held dear. It was, as Zarkon said, for Shiro's own protection. Shiro didn't mind this, as long as Zarkon continued to love and pamper him.

As he did just now.

Shiro watched as Zarkon clasped his armor pieces back on, after indulging to his whims to visit Shiro in his secret sanctuary. Shiro was reluctant to part so soon, but he knew that Zarkon was needed elsewhere --- Zarkon was always so busy, but he always found time to visit every now and then. Shiro could understand that.

When Zarkon was finally done, Shiro slipped out of the bed and stood on his tiptoes so he could turn Zarkon's face to face him. Zarkon almost immediately bent forward to compensate with their height difference and Shiro pressed a soft kiss to his lips.

"What was that for?" Zarkon asked, blinking slowly in amusement.

"For luck", Shiro replied.

Zarkon let out a small chuckle and pressed another kiss to Shiro's lips.

Yeah, Shiro didn't mind this at all.

undertale au i dreamed into existence and then spent like an entire night detailing for everyone 

(I spent time refining it, no solid name yet.) [Probably Understitch or Cherished Possessions]

it was a "plushtale" adjacent au where most monsters are creations of humans, Some abandoned and left to rot, finding solace in eachother and community. Napstablook and Mellablook (Now Mettaton) were owned by the same little girl who lost them in a move and they eventually got thrown out and found the other abandoned monsters in the "underground" (basically a commercial dump) and Mettaton, a Plush "Ghost" at the time (Like napstablook) met Alphys and asked her to create a new form for him [His form was damaged coming to the dump], And thus alphys created it and used Mettaton's stuffing and plush soul to give their new body life. Mettaton's old body had a little ribbon around it so alphys carefully sewed it onto Napstablook and used the remaining fabric to repair rips and tears on them.

the "Pacifist" ending is Frisk (the Human) In searching through the dump one night so they don't get in trouble, finds all the "monsters" and basically takes them home and gives them all TLC where they get to be loved and kept and cherished

Sans & Papyrus are decorative figurines, think wooden people for a young childs playset Mettaton & Napstablook are plushies Alphys is one of those educational toys that has a scanner (basically you'd use her like a pen, holding her in your hand you scan her tail over text and she'd read it. She learned a lot from that) Undyne is an Action Figure Muffet is an anime figure that basically stole the arms off other anime figurines (to explain why she has more arms) Asgore and Toriel are likely "educational" toys that used to basically come in a set (Theyre still married, no asgoriel divorce here folks) (they did lose their "son" (That completed their set), think those little sylvanian family figurines that came in sets and had little playhouses and stuff :3) theyre still looking for asriel (he's with their old human caretaker- Chara- who passed away and had their favorite toy [Asriel] buried with them) The various dogs are all "Vet-play" dog toys Gaster used to be a talking science toy that seemed to specialize in chemistry for older kids, he'd move around before every rain spreading his wisdom. some form of slime fungus grew on him and he roamed off into the night. Nobody knows where he went, and they know it isnt safe to search for him. Flowey does not exist. (not being cryptic or anything i just dont think he'd actually work for the au, let my boy asriel rest lmao) Amalgamates are odd, Being various toys who desperately tried to patch themselves together through any means necessary, taking parts that didnt belong to them in a desperate bid for survival, they are like the bandits/wastelanders of this world. They don't truly mean harm but their consciousnesses have blurred to the point they dont know the difference anymore between taking abandoned parts and ripping them off of still living toys. Mad-Dummy/Mad Mew Mew is the only "Successful" amalgamate, previously being a plushie which stuffed itself into a broken and hollowed anime figurine and used various resources to keep it held together. (Plushies are the only ones who can do something like this, As their essence and being lays in their stuffing and not entirely their shell.)

How does Toy Consciousness work? If a toy is loved enough by a child and played with enough, it gains a personality and a soul, kept within its normally inanimate object, The power of a human's creativity allows for these odd creatures- "Living Toys" to play with the child how they desire. As humans lose hope and wonder in the process of aging, they lose the ability to do this. Toys are careful not to be seen by adults. In the far distant past, these living toys acted as guardians to children, but with the times having changed these creatures were slowly forgotten. No, mass produced toys who are never bought or cherished are given consciousness. Typically Toys also lose their consciousness after time, but if one was cherished enough, They can remain conscious for Decades. Toys in museums from older generations lost consciousness long ago because they havent had the touch or care of a child for a long time. The act of play with a toy, with giving them a personality- giving them a role to play- That is what gives a toy life. Some come from horrible homes, where the children they were given life from were hurt and treated horribly, Often their personalities in these cases may not match what the child gave them, rather they often try to comfort and protect the child in what little and vague ways they can. Its all they can do.

It would be a relatively stable au, I think if i had to choose reps for gildedverse it'd be Napstablook (Under the name Patches) and Mettaton (Unsure what name yet, Considered Voodoo but too worried its offensive, Maybe Doll?), in a place thats Gildedverse's equivalent to the "Omega Timeline" (Its called "The Haven Beyond")

ok lore is overIDK why this dream came to me, but i ended up getting obsessed with it and evolving it more with the idea of a sort of lovely comfort au. I think i want to draw up these characters (I have actually drawn napstablook and mettaton as i remember seeing them in the dream) but i want to make it more concrete, maybe it will become a more main project than gildedverse since this has more potential for a full story? it seems like it'd be a fun little thing to do :]

if yall have thoughts i'd love to hear. This au just makes me rot in a toothrotting fluff kinda way. Maybe i'll write a fic and then base a small comic off of it? I'm not entirely sure. Its definitely going to be something, i think. also dont call it toy story i just realized while finishing this up that its vaguely similar to toy story but i was NOT thinking of toy story at all when i was fleshing this out more sobs, please give me some mercy </3

OH btw guys, Kintsugi's getting a minor rewrite for their backstory, to make them feel more powerful :3

No longer are they a random sans from an au but rather a being made by the creators, A Dragon of Wishes, made to grant the needs of the suffering masses of the aus, that the creators may not know nor care enough to expend their energy to solve themselves. Nightmare and CO Found Kintsugi as a statue and freed them. plan on making some kind of animatic or storyboard about the main trio that'll be new to the multiverse scene that has the updated lore for kintsugi so like... ya :D
