i actually completely agree with this, but just to point out, there’s also petites sections in dept stores. which i am literally not making any point about just throwing that out there for more thought idk.

hmm yeah that's true. i suppose it's more theyre implying there's a normal body type for women. its important for large women and small women both to find clothes they like/that fit them, but at the expense of acting as if their body types are somehow more or less superior than the "standard" sizes for women and to pretend that the clothes for large or small women need to be different than what they would sell to women whose bodies they deem normal is wrong.
