Ethan comes from a wealthy family of 3, his mother Victoria Akins, his father Richard Akins, and himself. Ethan's parents, while loving and supportive, often times can put a lot of pressure on him. As a result, he feels overwhelmed with the expectations that comes with his family's status. He spends a lot of his time trying to make his parents proud.

He is currently following his mothers footsteps by working in the business career as an assistant manager. Ethan (against his parents wishes) recently moved to Willow Creek, a small town, quite a different scenario compared to where he grew up. He thinks this drastic change will be good for his self discovery journey.
