what was his initial reaction to discovering his sexuality
confusion , at first lol. he always found girls attractive , both aesthetically & sexually. & he could appreciate guys for their looks but he never really thought he would like , be attracted to them in the sense of wanting to be with them either physically or romantically ?
& then it’s his third year of high school & he meets another player from a rival school ( dunno who yet ) & they hit it off immediately. they live int he same area so they exchange numbers & they talk about this band that they mutually love & teru finds himself so ? attracted to their mind & their voice & their laugh & they flirt a lot like.
teru is very flirtatious & he’s jokingly flirty with a lot of people but this always teetered between being real and a joke & then one day they just ? kissed ? & he didn’t hate it but he also didn’t know what the fuck to do because he thought things would be so different because ya know , heteronormativity can be damaging to how we perceive these very normal things and !
so it took a while for him to actually talk about it to his uncle but when he does his uncle , who a few years ago had come to teru with his homosexuality , is very uderstanding and opening and tells him it’s normal to like people. you like them regardless of their gender and that should be all that matters and you’re still you and you don’t have to do anything different and it’s gonna be hard to come to terms with it but don’t think ur any less than what u were or whatever ?
and so in college he starts experimenting more and like becoming more comfortable in his sexuality. hooking up with guys and girls and liking them both and content with himself ^^
