(1) thunder road. you already know. on repeat daily. "roy orbison singing for the lonely/hey, that's me and i want you only", "show a little faith there's magic in the night/you ain't a beauty but hey you're alright", and everything he sings after "Hey what else can we do now?" A never ending slay, in my humble opinion.

(2) atlantic city. can't list my fav lyrics cause it's the whole damn song.

(3) tougher than the rest - you were so right for listing this one. "the road is dark/and it's a thin, thin line/but i want you to know i'll walk it for you anytime."

(4) because the night. sung by bruce or by patti, idc. so great.

(5) dancing in the dark. don’t look at me. i know it’s basic. i also don’t care because it’s so fucking good. the lyrics are so heartbreaking, and with the pop beat over top? beautiful.
