The beginning of this movie always scared the shit out of me. Turns out that a lot of the beginning was lifted from a case discussed on “Unsolved Mysteries” (Season 3, Episode 20 for those interested). Obviously it’s not a beat for beat thing but I think that explains why it freaks me out.
