Hi my name is Blue Sargent and I have a blue aura (that’s how I got my name) and spiky ebony black hair that’s long enough to pull back but short enough that it requires clips to do so successfully and a lot of people tell me I look like the Page of Cups (AN: if u don’t know who that is get da hell out of here!). I’m not related to Richard Gansey III but I wish I was because he’s a major fucking hottie. I’m from a family of psychics but I’m not actually one. I just make things louder for them. I’m also destined to kill my true love, and I go to a public school called Mountain View High where I’m a junior (I’m seventeen). I’m a trashy chick eccentric (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear mostly black. I love lampshades and I sometimes wear clothes that look like them and anything that I’ve handmade myself. For example today I was wearing a few thin layering shirts, including one I had altered using a method called shredding. I was wearing an uneven ponytail with escaped chunks of hair and mismatched clips. I was walking outside Aglionby Academy. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of Raven Boys stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

i kind of disagree about selena's/brom's relationship not written to be iffy because it totes is, albeit unintentionally. apart from selena's story being devoid of any agency whatsoever and being inherently misogynistic (thanks paolini), brom tries to seduce her to get back at morzan out of "spite". its fucked up on so many levels, & considering how vulnerable & helpless & young selena was doesn't help brom's case at all. he's just another creepy old dude taking advantage of a girl, like Morzan.

the more that I think about this the more that I realize how unhealthy for selena that relationship must have been especially since she was escaping from an incredibly dangerous and abusive relationship and running into the arms of another 100+ year old rider who had a personal vendetta against the man she was with previously that existed before she was even born (jfc).

I mean while I was reading it I thought about it briefly but I didn’t put much thought into it as I assumed paolini just didn’t understand the delicacy of a situation like that. however the whole brom possibly seducing selena out of spite is so obviously a terrible thing to do and not at all redeemable by them ~falling in love~ so I’m wondering how paolini himself viewed that act since brom isn’t supposed to be a bad dude. maybe he thought it wasn’t as bad because brom thought she was the evil black hand of morzan before getting to know her or maybe he thinks it was covered with the whole “brom wasn’t perfect” thing. I dunno but it’s really weird that almost every relationship he created was incredibly unbalanced in some way or another.

same reason ppl ship creepy ships like selena/brom + selena/morzan + arya/faolin (who was confirmed to be hundreds of years older than arya). it says something gross about paolini himself that this is a trend in his series.

oh shit you’re right I just realized how old brom must have been when he was with selena I mean selena and morzan is terrible for a million other reasons along with that but damn that’s so weird

I totally thought brom and selena were fine up until now but he was old as hell when he was with her and so was morzan! thats fucked up! why would he even be interested in someone so young I mean morzan was like The Devil™ and he was using her so I get that but brom and selena’s relationship wasn’t written to be iffy at all, maybe if she was an older human it would be less weird but she wasn’t

and yeah I guess arya and faolin would be gross if his age was literally like multiple times hers, it’s weird when thinking of immortal races and whats fine and what isnt but thats a pretty huge difference no matter how long you’ve been alive for especially since arya is a young elf in the first place

I have a board on pinterest where I collect most of the images that end up in graphics.  I’ve done three ginny/tom graphics recently so I’m not 100% sure which one you mean (though they’re all in that board.)  The one I did yesterday used this photo.
