“Ginga Board is an online forum community that began 10 years ago, with members from across the globe coming together under one common interest - Yoshihiro Takahashi's Ginga Series. Although the community is alive and well, the forum itself is not and will become obsolete next year and will no longer function. With over 2,000 members, the goal is simple: to move everyone to a more up to date and secure forum where it can continue to thrive.”
Ginga Board is moving away from Gingasite to a brand new and secure space on the internet! This has to happen due to outdated software which will result in losing the board entirely next year if left as is.
It’s a big task that requires monetary investment, and while it’s not a huge amount to raise between a lot of people (£700) we’ve got some sweet little perks to help donations along. Every penny will pay for professional setup, build and maintenance costs for the first year, but we gotta reach that goal by June 7th!
As of writing this, we are at 52% which is a huge achievement in such a short space of time. My hope is to smash the target, and any funds over will be used to cover projected costs for the hosting and maintenance in Year 2 (maybe even year 3!)
