NOTHING WILL BE SOLVED UNTIL WE FIX THE SYSTEM BY WHICH WE USE TO SOLVE THOSE PROBLEMS.
We can argue about gun laws.
We can argue about immigration.
We can argue about terrorism.
We can argue about healthcare.
We can argue about the prison system.
We can argue about climate change.
We can argue about all of this and more for 50 more years, and I am more than confident that we would find ourselves in a position then that isn't discernibly different from where we are now.
Why? The answer is simple:
Before we can hope to tackle any of these issues in a way where real solutions can be reached, we must first attack the corruption that disallows us to do so.
We need to focus our efforts, as the people of this country, on getting rid of the things that have taken our country from us. Campaign finance, major corporations that are so big they own the media and tell you what to think, gerrymandering, the party system, congresses ability to exempt themselves from taxes or fees levied on the people, lobbying, voter suppression and election fraud, etc...
If we all focus our energy.
We CAN topple the corruption that has taken over our country.
We CAN take back the power from the ultra-rich who pull the strings.
But, we have to stand up first. We have to focus our energy.
BECAUSE NOTHING WILL BE SOLVED UNTIL WE FIX THE SYSTEM BY WHICH WE USE TO SOLVE THOSE PROBLEMS.
