Wraps Recipe - Hoisin Beef Wraps
A flavorful stir-fry dish with soft chicken, crisp veggies, and a robust ginger sauce that is both delicious and simple to prepare. Ideal for an easy weeknight supper!
Ingredients: 400g chicken breast, thinly sliced. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, thinly sliced. 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced. 2 carrots, julienned. 3 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce. 1 tablespoon honey. 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooked rice for serving.
Instructions: Soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and a dash of salt and pepper should all be combined in a bowl to marinate the sliced chicken. Put it away for fifteen minutes. In a wok or sizable skillet, heat the vegetable oil over high heat. Add the sliced ginger and minced garlic. Stir-fry for 30 seconds to release the aroma. After adding the marinated chicken, cook it for about 5 minutes, or until it turns white and is cooked through. Add the bell peppers, diced onion, and julienned carrots. The veggies should be crisp-tender after another three to four minutes of stir-frying. After adding the cornstarch mixture, thoroughly stir the sauce until it thickens. Present the Ginger Pot of Chicken. Over cooked rice, stir-fry. Have fun!
