which was your best relationship?
( another ask from like 2016, I guess we're cleaning up tonight )
for all the inexperience we had, and the issues we needed to sort out with ourselves instead of dragging each other down, I still think the relationship with E was the best one I've had.
we've had similar interests, we did vibe well despite our teenage and young adult angst, and despite there being a lot of things I want to apologize for now, I do hope I created as much good memories for her as she did for me. I hope she's still as glad about the fact that I was her first kiss as she was back then.
and although we don't talk often anymore I still cherish every and each memory we've made. the concert we went to later, and that few days I spent at her place. and the nights of chatting about the bands we liked, and the stupid puns and inside jokes that were 97 percent typos dragged out and out until they were really dead wkdkskskrt.
sure, I had just come out of a very formative, abusive relationship before, and E was everything K was not, but it feels wrong to dismiss and diminish it like this. we were real, and I loved her. I just wish I could've taken better care of her when I had the chance.
still, I'm happy she's happy now, and I'm glad we still talk. <3
