Some fun fruity nails to start off my week.

Simple gingham/check pattern!

It’s so easy to do with only a couple of shades of pink and a few lines!

Gingham nails test

Left hand: Pinky: Pacific Blue and Bikini So Teeny a la Nailasaurus. Ring: Translucent layers in Blueberry a la Sandra Chu but with centres filled in. Middle: Sandra Chu with Deep Blue Sea. Index: Pacific Blue tape a la Nailed It. Thumb: Sandra Chu with Deep Blue Sea with centres filled in.

Right hand:  Thumb: Sandra Chu with SOPI mini. Index: Sandra Chu with SOPI mini with centres filled in. Middle: Nailasaurus with SOPI mini and Take Me to Your Chateau. Ring: Nailasaurus with Jet Set to Paris and Take Me to Your Chateau. Pinky: Sandra Chu with Jet Set to Paris.

Top coat: Matte About You.

Next time: Make sure you cover your cuticles with base coat -- some of these blues stain like crazy. Jet Set to Paris bleeds under the Matte About You. Nailasaurus technique looks great on the left hand, pretty shaky on the right. Tape method would look great with small stripes, but it's way too much waiting time.
