Kaito’s father was a member of the CCG and ran the academy’s bootcamp. His strict discipline and views on ghouls heavily impacted Kaito’s home life. His father saw him as a rookie who needed to be put in place. His father emotionally nelglected him along with his brother Sasu. His father played favorites, Senso was always spared from their father’s abuse and commonly praised for being the best.

Kaito believes that showing any emotion is a sign of weakness. It wasn’t Kaito who wanted to join the Quinx project, rather his father wanted his son to do it when the academy presented the idea, so Kaito did what he believed would make his father proud.

Daku is the only blood child of Oda and Hana. He’s a natural-born half-ghoul, his mother consumed human flesh throughout the pregnancy to ensure his well-being, he loves his mother for that, but hates her for leaving him and his father.

Ginji was mentally, emotionally, physically, and sexually abused in her youth. Because of this, she suffers from severe PTSD and undiagnosed bipolar disorder. 

Daku has made various attempts to consume food from McDonald’s, each attempt ending with his face in a toilet.

GINJI QUICK NOTES:

Is incredibly toxic.

Used to date Shurui.

While dating Shurui, she was incredibly abusive, manipulative, and controlling to him.

Bikaku kagune type.

She’s part of the sweeper group.

Is currently with Kusari.

She cannibalizes, but lacks a kakuja and will never get one.

Ginji tends to use her past as an excuse for her behavior.

Growing up she was heavily abused by both her parents, mainly her father. This ended when Oda killed them.

While she may be a toxic individual, this trait is completely erased when it comes to interacting with Bam Bam.

She has severe PTSD from what her father did to her and is very easily triggered by the smallest of things. She also has bipolar disorder and isn’t medicated due to her ghoul stance.

Ginji is horrible at emotional management and will let her feelings get the best of her.

The only people she doesn’t seek to manipulate are Jiggy, Oda, Bam Bam, and at times Kusari who actually genuinely pities her due to her past and constantly tries to help her.

She’s an alcoholic and is a frequent guest at Helter Skelter.

Much like Kusari, when disposing of bodies while attending Sweeper duties, she eats the corpses.

In her teen years, she was close to becoming one of Choki’s girls.

While she and Shurui are separated, she does stalk him and refuses to let him be with anyone else, she has even killed some of his potential partners.

Even though she still keeps tabs on Shurui, Ginji is obsessed with Kusari and will also follow him around when he doesn’t want her too.
