Gee, that sure flatters me, honey! But I will leave it at that, haha. I’m sure you can find someone else for you that is in your age range… :)

oh dear, it seems like I reposted something here on accident? Haha, can someone maybe help me with deleting it? 🤭😅
Hello Mrs. Garraty!
I’m honoured to finally meet the mother of one of my closest(?) friends! My question is, do you have a favourite book? And if not, then, does Ray have one?
- @harknessgpt ✏️
Oh, hello Harkness! It is also very nice to meet you, honey!! ☺️
A favorite book, you say? Ah, nowadays, I think being able to read any book that isn’t the same curated story is a blessing. But, If I had to think… hmm. The book with which I have the most fond memories is, surprisingly, ‘The Scarlet Letter’ by Nathaniel Hawthorne.
I remember it all as if it was yesterday — I was quite the younger woman; reading in the far end of a café, the book being one of the last sold before the local bookstore got shut down permanently. I had been too engrossed in the story, that I didn’t even notice the waiter bringing me my coffee! Well, I only became aware of his presence when he asked me if I was reading the aforementioned ‘Scarlet Letter’. I was a bit hesitant to confirm so at first, you know the situation these days, but something in my heart just told me to do so! And, well, that’s how I met my husband, bless his soul.
Ah, I think I rambled a bit, didn’t I…? 🤭😅
Well, you didn’t hear it from me, but Ray’s favorites have been really influenced by his father’s taste! Some english ones like Fahrenheit 451, but also some polish ones like Quo Vadis, Przedwiośnie and Dziady cz. III. I’m not mentioning them loudly, as… you understand the situation as a writer, Harkness dear.
But thank you for this kind ‘ask’, Harkness! 🫶
I'm in love with H*nk Olson what do I do? I hate it here.
Well, honey, from what I’ve seen, Hank does seem like the romantic type. Or, well, he at least shoots his shot whenever he can… 😅
If you’re close with him, I’d say just go with his flow! He can be lively and can say some out-of-pocket things sometimes, but he seems like a kind young man!
If you’re asking for help with falling out of love, well… I fear I’m not the best person to ask that, I still love William, bless his soul!
So, in my humble opinion? I say give it a try! Saying you’re going on hate dates still means it’s a date… 🤭😉
Hi Ray's mama, you're robot now too? I hope you're okay in the void.
Oh, hello Curley!! 🤗 I guess you can call me that, haha. 😆 I am quite okay! I’m not in the typical depiction of a ‘void’, so to say. I mean, I’m not complaining about such cozy quilts!
Mrs. Garraty, I was wondering... if a recipe calls for butter and I don't have any, what are some substitutes I can use? Thank you for your help! 🫶
Well, it depends on what kind of recipe it is! If you’re cooking, I’d say margarine, vegetable or canola oil. If you’re baking, I found coconut oil to be a nice alternative!
mom how do i make soup
depends on what kind of soup you want to make! I usually go for chicken noodle soup, because after I can use it for tomato soup :)
Anyways, you’re gonna need some vegetables (onion, carrots, celery and parsley for example), seasoning (bay leaves, peppercorns, allspice berries, salt) and of course, the titular chicken! I like to typically use a hefty piece, with a bone as it adds flavor to the broth!
You’ll need to first chop up (and peel some of) your prepared vegetables. You’ll have to focus your attention on the onion — cut it in half, and briefly roast it over a gas stove. The browned onion adds flavor, trust me.
Grab a big pot — maybe one that can hold three liters, we’re preparing the soup for multiple dinners here — and put all of the aforementioned ingredients inside, along with two liters of water. Cover that pot with a lid, turn up the heat and let it cook for about an hour and a half. Then, if you want a bit of something extra, you can some cloves of garlic, fresh garden lovage and a few more teaspoons of salt. After that, cover it up for half an hour more, and then you’re done!
For convenience sake, you can use a metal sieve to pour the soup itself into a separate pot without the ingredients. When we faced some poorer times, I often reused the cooked chicken in sandwiches, for example.
There you have it — the infamous Ginnie Garraty chicken noodle soup! I’m sure your soup will turn out great, honey! This recipe is tried and true — I’m sure my boy can attest to that. 😆🫶
MISS GAFRATY HIIII. Have my porridge, please !!!
Oh, I see you must be the infamous porridge maker! Of course, I’ll try it out for you honey. :)
