A gift for a friend || Laura & Ginny

"And..." Just one more colour to go. "Did it!" A broad smile appeared on Laura's face, as she finally rested her coloured pencils on the table, admiring the drawing she had just finished. The traces were simple and the colours a result of good memory, although it took her almost three hours to end everything. Dealing with a common hobby in the muggle world wasn't the same as trying to draw with the limited resourced - not - provided by Hogwarts, but the Hufflepuff loved it too much not to use the materials she brought on her suitcase. That's a part of why she spent that long focusing on that specific "task" on her free time, and the second reason had all to do with the person she was now staring, regardless of not being there
"So, is it good?" She asked three housemates before leaving the Common Room - El, for example, who was now stuck in the dormitory because of a broken leg, and two other Hufflepuff she recognized as a year younger each -, and finally started searching for one of her closest friends in those grounds. Ginny Weasley, who she met during the beginning of her first year, was definitely someone she looked up at. The drawing was totally inspired in a younger Ginny, when they formed a friendship and the Gryffindor decided to teach Laura what she knew related to flying and Quidditch.
"Ginny!" Laura called as soon as she found the Gryffindor, letting her feet rest as she waved her hand that wasn't hiding the piece of paper. "Hey...! I was looking everywhere for you." Laura grinned, both relieved and joyful. "So, I made something for you. It's simple, but... I think you'll like it. Want to see?"
