#GinNYC I've arrived to my new home in Flatbush Brooklyn. I'm a good way through unpacking. A lil exhausted. A lil excited. So thankful for friends like Rendell Corey Gilbert and Jourdain D Henderson who helped with the move. Thanks Trenise for unpacking too! Most bittersweet is that my best friend Preston D. Mitchum couldn't move too 😂. I moved to D.C. In May 2013 and met Preston 4 days later. I've never had a friend who challenged me to be who I am and not what I thought I was supposed to be based on other people's thoughts. He has helped me become the person I am and confirmation of what the universe can do when you allow yourself to be vulnerable. We all need love from best friends. We all need to be checked by best friends. Get you one that can do both. I know I have.
