It’s an interesting question because it really does depend on how you view intelligence, because intelligence comes in so many different ways.
Roxanne and Lucy are both in Ravenclaw, so you know they’re smart.Rox just really loves learning, and she’s really strong in tactical thinking.Lucy puts strategic, practical knowledge before all else.
And Rose just consumes knowledge as if she needs it to live. Although I’m not too sure she’s so much as naturally smart than just really dedicated to learning as much as she can.
But then there’s Louis. Learning comes so goddamn easy for Louis. He doesn’t even have to try, he just soaks it all up like a sponge. He’s not, like, logical smart, but more like quick-learner, book smart, things just click together in his head really easily and he understands it; he’s especially good with languages. But school has never really been a priority for him so he’s in Hufflepuff. He’s so smart and he doesn’t even appreciate it, the bastard.
So like I said, it depends on how you look at it. Is “smart” defined as a logical thinking, a quick learner, or someone who upholds knowledge and achieves it through dedication?
