Safari the Girafarig/Farigiraf.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon oc!

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is my favorite thing in the whole wide world and I'm ready to yap my hardest about my ocs for it.

Safari as a Girafarig, is extremely timid and easily crying over the smallest things. Her tail doesn't hesitate to pick at her for these things.

Although, said tail cannot speak physically. It can speak to Safari through their connection. Telepathically snarling things to her that make her second guess everything she does and what she will do.

However, one thing remains. She wants to join a Guild! To be able to be stronger and explore ancient ruins, fantastical places and more is her dream.

I never got to fully flesh her out because the group I was going to use her for disbanded.

Then when Scar/Vio came out I jumped on the chance to make her evolution and expand on her lore :)

Because eventually, she'll overcome the viciousness of her negative tail and evolve. But in evolving their consciousness will be fully combined and their thoughts as one.

I wonder if this actually made her brave, or just as vicious as her tail was?

Who knows?

She also has sharp teeth, unlike her species. It's why she doesn't necessarily have a herd of Girafarig she hangs with... But that's okay! She'll join a guild! Then she'll have all the friends she wants...

Okay, so I have this bunch of Pokemon figures I've had since I was a child, and I wanted to draw them.

Basically Pokemon OCs from back then, I guess. Just the ideas I had given these Pokemon figures.

They live in a town called Springsmix, and the town is cursed. The curse is that once you walk in past a certain point, you can never leave. The Pokemon even took note of this and marked the exact line you'd need to cross with warnings everywhere. A thick fog surrounds the place and always has you turned around and despite running away in a straight line, you find yourself running right back into town. Sometimes falling if you dig, or popping out of the ground if you fly.

These are some of the Pokemon I had that I doodled.

Girafarig would constantly talk about how there were "Giant hands coming from the sky controlling their every move" and her tail would talk to her about stuff but go silent whenever anyone else was around. At some point when I was playing with her, her tail fell off and I added a bit that she cut it off herself and started to seem a bit happier afterwards.

Pachi was Riolu's chaotic son… but I kept switching between if Pachi was girl or boy and ended up keeping it ambiguous and when asked the question during play "Are you a boy or a girl?" Pachi would just respond with "Yes! I am one of those! :D" The "Hot Cherry Soup" thing is a reference to when my cousin was very young and couldn't speak properly yet, and my uncle was asking what the Pokemon names were and kept saying "Pachirisu" wrong until my little cousin told him "No, Daddy! It's Hot Cherry soup!" We all thought this was very funny at the time.

Minccino was one of the ones I got sometime right as I stopped playing with them, but I still gave him a personality in preparation for when I would play again (never did). Was basically supposed to run a cafe something like Spinda's, but he sells coffee because... he needs it.

I also added a little "Starbok's" as a reference to that one Tumblr post on his apron bc I thought it would be funny
