I personally don’t consider myself a terf but I’m very much anti men speaking over women on women’s issues. I don’t like when women can’t discuss their own biological problems like FMG, abortion, menstruation, ecc without them being silence because it’s ‘triggering’ or it isn’t an ‘inclusive’ topic.. I also hate being referred to as a ‘bleeder’, ‘breeder’ or other offensive things for the sake of inclusiveness because apparently woman is too vague.
hm, i guess i got the point…
yeah, i’m mostly anti-man also, but not with the trans men.
Concerning women I think cis women or trans women are women, some of them have vaginas, some don’t, some get pregnant, some don’t, etc… but they are all women to me.
This “inclusive” thing is also an issue because recently i discussed about abortion and i said “women” lots of times, but i’ve already seen cases in which a trans man got pregnant. So, as I said, human beings are complex beings, we are diffent in millions and unimaginable ways.
So i think is valid to discuss things that concerns us, if i were a trans woman i wouldn’t mind having cis women discussing abortion around me (considering the fact that i wouldn’t have those things), in the same way: when trans women talk about their issues I listen; because they are valid, they are real, they exist!
Some cis woman can’t get pregnant, some cis woman doesnt menstruate, and that’s ok (or not, it depends if you like it or not). I try to be the most inclusive possible, but i would never refrain myself from discussing “feminine issues” because some don’t feel included, because after all: this is it: we are all humans but we have our differences, but it doens’t make us “less woman” for that.
in other words:
feminism is for WOMEN (trans, cis, bi, assexual, straight or not, poc or not, whatever)
trans rights are human rights ❤︎
