When Watson came back to the hotel after the reichenbachfall, Holmes belongings WERE STILL THERE. All his clothes and his books and stuff....

And Watson most probably stood there in the middle of everything for a moment before collapsing in a corner, burying his face into Holmes's favourite coat and crying his poor little heart out....

Because I'm thinking about this a lot.
