What are Gishpoints?

Basically, they’re the Gishwhes loyalty rewards program. The more involved you are, the more points you’ll get. You can start earning points as soon as you first register, and they carry over from year to year. This is why the ‘Top 200’ on the Gishwhes website have so many points- many of them have been participating for many years. But don’t worry- Gishpoints are separate from hunt points. They have no influence on scoring for any individual hunt.

Why do I want them?

In the past, individuals in higher gishpoint tiers have been given early access to things like the Gishwhes shop, 2014’s Serpessence website, 2015’s phone tree, and the 2016 site update Beta test. Gishers have received a one-use discount code, with the % off depending on their current gishpoint tier, for use in the official Gishwhes Schwag Shwop. The highest levels also have access to things like super-secret areas on the Gishbus, and have earned free registration upgrades.  A more detailed accounting of gishpoint perks can be found HERE.
