Done! Profits from @giveastitchproject 's April design benefited the National Resources Defense Council. So much fun with 3D stitches, which I'm usually pretty wary of because I'm afraid they'll look cheesy. Not here! Done!! I *loved* working on this bread and roses design from @giveastitchproject ! The proceeds from sales of this pattern went to the National Organization for Women. 🌹 🌾 The shading on the rose and bud we're done with three strands of dmc floss; the wheat was done with three strands, too, but SUPER SNEAKY, I used two light gold and one dark gold! Love the texture that added to the chain stitches. Well since my March @giveastitchproject is taking forEVER here's a pic of my finished February design. Again, because I can never do things the easy way, I decided to fill the drawings: this time by turning it into a four color screen print. I then stitched the original design on top to create the outlines and dimensionality.
