Our partnering communities in Southeast Asia have implemented a sustainable farming method called permaculture. This is a method of “permanent agriculture” that has created more efficient results than regular farming through using the biodiversity of the land. By mimicking natural interconnections within the farm, it allows the production of more crops with less resources. So even in the dry season with less water, these farms are still thriving! These permaculture farms are providing food right now to our partnering communities while public markets are unavailable. .
