Korso knew they couldn’t stay here. Not with Silver hit like that. But getting out is gonna be harder than it was getting in. Any sign of movement and more shots were fired, it was a blessing whenever he was able to come out of cover and fire off a few shots. One chance does pop up and he takes it, poking out of cover and firing quickly.

Only to duck right back down as several shots are sent his way, whizzing over their heads or into the cover that protects them from the impacts. Dammit! This wasn’t going to go anywhere like this.

“We’re not going anywhere til these clowns let up!” it’d be too dangerous to duck out now. He or Silver would just end up taking another shot and neither of them, especially Silver, could deal with that again.

--> the buckskin looked at the whatever kind of two leg it was in disbelief. What was this thing? He pawed the ground several times and snorted loudly at the man. Maybe intimidating him will scare him off. It always did with coyotes and bobcats. This would be his only warning.

"Well what on Earth do we have here?"

Aquanna had a bad habit of getting into trouble.

The sprite had been exploring what looked to be a kitchen, sliding down spoons and looking at her reflection in pots. It was quite fun, until her tiny stomach growled. After some searching, she spotted a few slices of apple, forgotten in the bottom of a large bowl. Perfect! No one would notice her taking some scraps!

Being the industrious little thing she was, Aquanna managed to pull a ladle over, using it as a ramp to get into the bowl. Once at the top, she hopped off, sliding down the side of the bowl and bouncing off the apple. In no time, the slices were gone, surprisingly not visible in her clear body, and she laid back to enjoy the feeling of being full.

Then came a voice. Aquanna opened her eyes to see someone looking down at her. One of the eyes was normal, but the other…the sprite squeaked, and began to try to climb up the slippery sides of the bowl, though it was futile, as she simply kept sliding back down.

[ 師傅 }   Shifu’s gaze darted to the ... ursid’s strange arm. It appeared to be made of metal. Shifu had NEVER seen anything like it. He’d seen artificial limbs, certainly, but none so complex.

“...No, I know full well I’m a train wreck...” All Silver really knew was that Joker thought his father was a bastard and he happened to be related to him, he didn’t know the full story of why the immortal hated him so much. He was still debating on telling the cyborg, he was starting to feel a bit more comfortable around him now, but that was a story that much harder to tell.

The words that followed, though, had the normally guarded expression on his face softening just a little into an almost smile. “You just look more like a train wreck,” came his response, the smirk returning to his face, though his features were still slightly less guarded than they had been before. Naturally, he was teasing, but now, it was just a touch more obvious. “But really, thanks... I appreciate that.” The last was added in a quieter tone as speckled gold shifted away slightly.
