This classic duo that debuted back in 1994 consists of Park Yong Jun (박용준) and Kim Kwang Jin (김광진). They're most known for their beloved single, Magic Castle (마법의 성) which has been covered by endless Korean singers. This particular track is more upbeat and playful, especially during the chorus. However, the lyrics aren't really happy, a popular contrast back in the 90's.

This song has a nice and calm character but the vocals still manage to show off a great range! The lyrics show appreciation for someone who always has your back and considering the music video, it's likely that they're talking about their fans, so sweet!

A touching song about the drawbacks of overachieving, a lot of people can probably relate to the words of this song. It really says a lot about the competitive nature of the modern world.

This song is another classic example of the wonderful work of 10cm. There's something about the emotion of the vocal that makes it quite unique. The total meaning of the song is a bit vague (at least to me), but I personally think that makes it even better!

Artist: Vanilla Unity (바닐라 유니티) Song: Understand Album: 1집 LoV.e
Not gonna lie, this song makes Vanilla Unity sound like a Kpop rock band (CN Blue, LED Apple-ish) especially with the rap part that isn't common for this band. This is definitely one of Vanilla Unity's lighter listens, likely to appeal to more people (because some of their songs are REALLY pure rock).
Artist: Younha (윤하) Song: Nothing (없어) (Feat. Eluphant/이루펀트) Album: Subsonic EP
So many elements put together to make an emotional and fantastical song such as this. Younha's voice makes anything sound ethereal but then the song quickly transitions into Eluphant's ear-tickling rap part - all enveloped by a dramatic hip-hop beat and violin accompaniment. A surprising pair but one of the best!

The smoothness of all the voices in this song are so attractiveness. There's such a modern feel to the style of the song, and even the concept of the album cover - simple and bright. Rico's nice R&B voice is so perfect for this song and blends well with Andup's solid rap voice.

Artist: Moon Myung Jin (문명진) Song: You're My Angel (당신은 나의 천사 야) Album: 2집 Soul 4 Life
Moon Myung Jin is a fairly unknown R&B singer under DH Entertainment. Apparently he had not stepped on stage for 10 years until he appeared on the show Immortal Song 2 last spring. His song, "Crying Again (또 운다)," was also featured on the drama Heirs (상속자들), giving him more attention. He puts a lot of emotion into his performances and this song is a great exhibit of that.
