When God does work in us, it's rarely comfortable. Relying on Him, trusting in Him, and giving Him complete and total control in my life is HARD. How easy it is to say "Lord, I trust you", while all the while planning and making decisions to execute my will, rather than His! I'm in a place right now where it's not only a daily surrender, it's an hourly, and sometimes even minute by minute surrender. That may sound ridiculous or excessive, but He promises that His plans, His way, and His timing for my life far surpass any plans I could dream up. Making a radical life change is challenging for us and impossible without Him; but if we let Him reign in our minds and hearts, little by little, change can take place. When God does work in us, it's rarely comfortable. But it is beyond worth it. #cslewis #givinggodcontrol #hiswaynotmine #changes
