I wanna be one of those mothers who does cute crafts and activities with their kids. I really do.....but 3 kids and "fun" activities is just exhausting. How do you moms make it look so easy? So I realize school is coming up soon. I've been trying to avoid it because......back to school shopping uggghh! But I know that we need to get new school clothes and that process starts by going through all the clothes we currently own and seeing what still fits and is in good shape. Normally this is a big task but today I thought I'd do it the lazy mom way. I told the girls we were going to have a fashion show with ALL their clothes. Problem solved. We go through their clothes without me having to do it all. I need to learn to delegate things anyway. #fashionshow #theydressthemselves #momwin
Kadee lost another tooth yesterday Papa. She spent most of the day wiggling it and tying dental floss to it in hopes of pulling it by slamming the door. I wished you were here to trick her into letting you pull her tooth like you did me when I was little. I don't know if I was an extra gullible child or I subconsciously just wanted you to do it but I fell for your "I'm not going to pull it, I just want to touch it" routine every time. Followed by "it just stuck to the paper towel. I didn't even pull it". I miss you papa, and I'm saddened that my girls never got to meet you. I know they would love you as much as I do. They would appreciate your quirky sense of humor. They think the most random things are hilarious. As I get older and the years pass my memories of you begin to fade. But I know I will always remeber you pulling my baby teeth. That's probably not a stand out memory to most people but it's one of the most vivid memories I have as a child. Kadee is the only one to lose a tooth so far but I have 2 more girls that will begin losing them soon and I get to remember you Papa each time they work on pulling the next baby tooth. Attention all moms! Y'all I have cut my daily tasks in half today. More than half my day is spent filling up cups for the girls. Apparently my kids are camels in disguise. So today I found these at Dollar General. I know right. Aaaahhhhh *Angels singing in the background* Seriously filled these cups up TWICE today.
