Team Court A) Lured Reynard with love to the school, where they would B) capture him and do everything in their power to keep him there either via manipulation or imprisonment. But since C) the magic and science were “divided” he had to take a human host to blend in causing an unintentional death, they probably used that as an excuse to “imprison” him in the court anyway and still get what they want. All to D) even though Reynard is not actively a threat, he is still a liability enough to try and prevent him from leaving the grounds.
They basically kidnapped and imprisoned a guy this entire time while under the guise of being “justice”
