G’day Seyary! I have to say, excellent work! Loving everything you have come up with as per usual… So, I will speak but must first apologise for this late submission given that you’ve released the excellent work of the latest chapter! Got to say, I started reading Gladiator after I read all your Sokkla fics (The Reason up when there was only 22 chapters, so it would have been around Feb 2013 I believe).

Favourite moment: Sokka & Zuko’s ‘Swordbending kai’ at Mai’s house. Hilarious! Least favourite moment: The argument & fallout from a drunken Sokka. Favourite Story Arc: The Dragon Arc, especially when they kick-ass together (puts Mr & Mrs Smith to shame). Favourite Character: None other than my favourite Princess!

Favourite OC: Got to be the Captain

Side Pairing: Haru & Ty Lee

Favourite Dialogues: The dialogue in Chapter 50 by the fence

Expectations: I really had no expectations when I started reading it, to be honest it was just a curiousity. Now I can proudly say it is indeed a Magnum Opus: Fanfiction to end all fanfiction in its ultimate glory! Looking Forward to: Just seeing how it all pairs out in the future, especially when all the characters like Aang, Katara, Sokka, Azula & Ozai come together in a clash. How will it all go down? I am so looking forward to what you have planned! Final Comments: My my, this is indeed a true work of art! Thankyou for all that you have shared with the world so far. Your writing tops canon 1000 times over. No matter how many chapters it takes, each will be worth their weight in gold! You should get a Gold Medal for this… Infact… At the very end of the story when it’s finished. I think I got a nice present for you that you just might like! Keep it up!

Q: When did you start reading Gladiator?

A: I can’t really recall, I think it was about the time Gladiator was around Chapter 20 or so. I love Sokkla, but I’ve been taking a break from FF.net, so I missed the start. 

Q:Your favorite and least favorite moments in the story so far?

A: My favorite must be the small comical exchange, after Azula decided to give Ty Lee the money to buy Haru. Ty Lee offered to give Azula sex tips. I just love Sokka’s little “Are you sure about this?” “I’m already regretting it.” “No, I’m talking about the sex tips.” 

Least favorite is probably Sokka being so forgiving about Azula throwing him in the armature league. Kind of easy to forgive someone who made you a murderer. 

Q: Favorite character?

A: Everyone. 

Q: Favorite OC?

A: The Captain and everyone who’s read the fanfic knows why.

Q: Favorite dialogues?

A: I guess that was in the “favorite moments”

Q: Favorite story arc?

A: The gladiator one tbh, I likw gladiators.

Q: Favorite chapter?

A: 56, it was unusual and gave the side characters more spotlight, but I love ‘em all. I think I love it in the context of the whole story, not because it’s the best written one.

Q: What were you expecting from the story when you started reading it? Did it meet your expectations?

A: My expectation on FF.net are generally one the lowside, but you managed to make one of my most hated genres (romance) into an interesting and grasping story. You’re good.

Q: Favorite side pairing?

A: Mai and her husband, homely couple. Mai tends to be much wiser than the rest, giving a unique perspective (compared to everyone else) and I just love the way her husband (I can never spell his name properly, sorry) treat her and their marriage. 

Q: What are you looking forward to in Gladiator’s future?

A: Katara and Sokka reuniting. Will it be on the slave market? On the battlefield? In the Epilogue? Who knows!? (you do) It’d be great anyway.

Q: And anything else you might want to say about the story!

A: No, it’s perfect.

When did you start reading Gladiator? 2013 spring somewhere around this time. YES! You can say that i was reading it from the beginning (3-5th ch), but put in on my alert list only in after two mounts after that.

Your favorite and least favorite moments in the story so far? ... I cant decide... I really can't decide. it should be plural: Favorite moments. Kissing scenes (after fight with Suki), forest then Sokka took care of Azula or then she was sick, ... least favorite moments its even harder to say...

Favorite character? Sokka & Azula

Favorite OC? Capt or dragon.

Favorite dialogues? About anything and everything that is between Sokka and Azula. But best part is turtle and eagle comparison

Favorite story arc? White lotus.

Favorite chapter? …I can’t narrow it down :D

What are you looking forward to in Gladiator’s future?

SOKKA AND AZULA GETTING TOGETHER OR MAKING LOVE AND GETTING CATCH IN BED (NAKED) (Zuko would be scared for life seeing that :D), ... Also Katara's REACTION when she learns that her brother is alive and is with princess. I know you will make something that we all will love to see.

And anything else you might want to say about the story!

I must say that your story is truly a masterpiece! First time i noticed it when you posted first chapter ("Just in" on FF.net), but didn't read it that time. (because there was one other story that i was looking too) To be honest i only read crossovers mostly that time and i didn't venture to normal story section. (There is very good ones like Scorched Earth or The Dragon King's Temple) So i was preoccupied with those. So one April day then i don't have anything to read i headed to normal story section (first time after very long time) looking for something... i really didn't know what ... only that Sokka or Toph had to be in it. And my eye catch interesting images of two stories and even more interesting was that main characters where Sokka and Azula. What a odd composition i thought. There wasn't pairing system yet and i hadn't read anything that includes them both so i decided to read them both.(I didn't know that such thing as Sokkla existed) I must say (but you already knew this) that your story was the one that make me interested in Sokkla.

Thank you for bringing us this wonderful story.

P.S. the other story was First Awakening.

Zuko catching them in bed... aaaaaah, that would be so much fun xD I already made him realize his best friend had defiled his sister during Break In, but in Gladiator it's even more amusing...

Gladiator questions

When did I start reading Gladiator? I started when about the 10th or 11th chapter was updated.

Favorite moment? So many it’s hard to choose one. Least favorite moment? I’m sure I’m with everybody else when I say it’s when June showed up

Favorite character? Sokka of course.

Favorite OC? The Captain. I think it’s the name (wink wink)

Favorite dialog? Sokka and Ozia. Just like how Sokka talks so casual to him most of the time. It’s probably refreshing to Ozia to have someone talk like that to him. I’m sure all his people have to walk on eggshells when they talk to him.

Favorite arc? Like all of them.

Favorite chapter? Every time I say this is my favorite. I say the same thing about the next. So I just don’t have just one favorite chapter.

Expectations? I was afraid it was just going to be a knock off of the movie with avatar characters. But having read Seyarys other story’s I started to read it and now I’m hooked. I wish I wasn’t so hesitant to start reading it. I should have known it was going to be great because of who is writing it.

Side pairing? Song and The Captain.

Future? Sokka and Azula finally getting together. The possible reunion between Sokka and Katarra.

This is the greatest story written by the greatest writer. Thanks for making my last year that much better. You are the BEST!!!!!

What were you expecting from the story when you started reading it? Did it meet your expectations?:  I actually came into the story with no expectations at all like I do with all stories as I feel they can ruin the story. I found this story randomly and I never heard a premise like it before and decided I'd give it a shot. It exceeded my non existent expectations with great writing, well developed characters and plot lines, as well as quick updates

One Year Anniversary: Gladiator

Name: This isn't my real name but a lot of people call me Lilith.

I started reading Gladiator about when I noticed the 7th chapter was up and I decided to start reading it. I caught up in that one sitting and I regret nothing.

I have a lot of favorite moments but, I'll say when they discovered Xin Long. Least favorite moment was when Sokka slept with June. I know he was drunk and all but still...it made me feel a lot of negative emotions.

Favorite Character: Azula of course! Been my favorite character for the longest time.

Favorite OC: Captain Rui Shi counts right?

Favorite Dialogues: The Turtle/Hawk talk in chapter 39, Azula saying, "I would have never dropped you" made me feel very emotional.

Favorite story arc: Rough Rhinos. For some reason that I can't explain I really liked that arc.

Favorite Chapter? Sorry, I can't pick one...

I honestly thought this was a re-telling of the movie Gladiator, "Are you not entertained!?" XD That was just when I saw the title. Then I noticed it was it's own story and read... and you have been taking my expectations and shooting them into the heavens. You are a amazing story teller.

Side Pairings: Zuko and Suki. I've never been the craziest Zuki fan, till I've read your stories. I like what you're doing with them in Gladiator.

I'm looking forward to Sokka and Azula just being happy together...On and them making love ;)

What else can I say about Gladiator? It's been my favorite thing on the internet since I discovered it. I've been going through some tough times, and lost the will to write my own stories...Then Gladiator pops into my life and was the bit of inspiration I needed to write again. Thank you. 

Lots of people have been betting their money on Sokka having an opportunity to shout the "Are you not entertained?!" phrase... xD thank you very much for your answers! :D I'm so glad Gladitor helped you find your own inspiration! :) thanks again!
