today on the decepticons keep ending up purple because it's Shockwave's favourite colour and he's buying the paint

Though the journey may have been more comfortable had Megatron not spent the majority of his time flexing and admiring the arm now adorned with his fully integrated fusion cannon. Soundwave had to admit that Shockwave had done an admirable job in matching the cannon's casing to the styling of the rest of their leader's frame and ensuring it did not interfere with his transformation sequence. He had, however, for some inexplicable reason decided to paint the weapon purple. And several of Megatron's other plates, for that matter. And not even the same purple as Shockwave's own plating. A <em>different</em> purple. How many shades of purple paint had he brought to their base?? Perhaps it was the same shade that the Constructicons wore. Maybe.

Laserbeak refused to give up the fluffy towel. Even with Laserbeak docked on the journey home, Soundwave was subjected to having a towel dangle unceremoniously from his chestplate.
