“Because sometimes we need to product a story quickly. May it be supervisors being assholes, stories suddenly going no where or what ever. Unfortunately you are in the public eye and how you stand has become a meme.” She was so glad she didn’t have to run that story because oh god was it lame.

She patted his shoulder. “Good luck with that.”

He brushed her hand off his shoulder, not being particularly keen on a stranger touch him, much less a reporter. “It sounds like a bunch of excuses for lazy journalism.” Was the only comment he was willing to offer.

Do they have any sort of visceral reaction to violence?

Sin

Android: Yes, Connor has defense programming should he be attacked suddenly and will be automatically kicked in before he realizes it. However, if he sees violence, he is still capable of accessing the situation without giving his emotional state away.

Human: In many cases, he is able to think logically and set his emotions to the side, but he struggles with some cases, such as with a loved one, an animal, or a child, and will likely try to turn the attention on himself instead. 

Naga: He can watch violence all the time and, even if it’s one of his villagers, should the moment require it, he is capable of biting his tongue and judging the situation. With a loved one, or if the assailant shows him disrespect, the Naga will strike violently, the amount they suffer depends on how the naga judges the transgression. 

Merman: Yes. Connor has a strong sense of right and wrong and does not like to see anyone suffer. He will protect the weak against the strong, even at the cost of his own life.
