OOC: today was supposed to be my day off but it did not go as planned at all, so I wasn't able to add more replies to my queue like I hoped. Sorry, I'll try to add more when I have time and energy.

“Ah, okay! I’ll uh, go get him for you!” Cissy said, though she couldn’t actually leave while was Fable still using her for support. Wincing, the succubus made a grunt of effort and tried her best to lift the girl the rest of the way onto her feet.

Out on the dance floor, Trent was still having a hard time finding Fable. The disorienting lights and music coupled with so many moving bodies shuffling around definitely made it difficult to tell if she was there at all. Luckily, his little helper appeared again, and Trent looked down at her as she latched onto his arm and shouted past the music that she had found Fable.

If not for his mask, the relief would have been apparent on Trent's face, but only for a moment. He knew he had to get to her quickly. Once Cissy had told him where she was and what condition she was in, Trent merely lifted Cissy up onto one shoulder, sitting her on his pauldron and keeping one hand on her hip to help her keep balance, before striding through the sea of people towards the bathrooms.

He didn't care that it was a women's only bathroom, and ducked beneath the top of the door frame to enter without warning anyone inside. A few women yelped and quickly exited behind him, probably to go tell security, but that was the least of his worries at the moment. Setting Cissy down, he found Fable and immediately went over to her, placing a hand on her forehead to draw the effects of the illness out of her and heal her to a point where she would be able to function again.

For a long time, Trent just sat in the water with Amin, allowing him to absorb the water through the roots that branched off of him. It was only when the plant fae began to breathe that Trent felt some relief that he would be okay. While Amin didn't technically need to breathe, being more flora than fauna, it still was a sign of life that made the demon feel better.

Despite his breathing being shallow, it was also a sign that he likely wasn't asleep anymore. That and the way he squeezed his eyes closed tighter told Trent that Amin was at least starting to stir. As if to prove this, Amin's arm gave an ever-so-slight squeeze. Trent wasn't sure if it was voluntary or not, but he felt the urge to comfort the fae either way.

Gently, he stroked his fingers along Amin's back in a soothing manner. He didn't want to speak, just in case Amin was still asleep, or wanted to get more rest even after waking up. Instead he just continued to hold the plant and breathe slow and deep to help make him feel safe. Even if he was asleep, he would still sense that Trent was there, and hopefully that would bring him some comfort.

It was only after about half an hour more that Trent wondered if perhaps he should check in with Amin and make sure he was okay. That they were okay. Shifting slightly, he looked down at Amin, unsure of how to breach the subject, especially if Amin wasn't fully conscious to answer. Deciding he would whisper, just in case the plant had fallen back asleep (or just wanted to pretend that he had) Trent asked timidly. "Is the pain gone?"
