Okay so...Glamourverse

I have A LOT of messages in my inbox, and I have READ them all, but tbh I’ve been hard at work the last few months on revising MLG (and subsequently AFILAG) to answer them but I will get to them soon. 

And I am proud to say that I am finally finished enough to repost. 

All of you who have messaged me in the past few months (or years even, I see you all), this is for you. All of you that asked so nicely to read it again, who told me it helped you through horrible times in your life, who said you connected with these characters and their struggles, I’m giving it back to you. 

I know I’ve said in the past that the story cringes me because I wrote it 10 years ago, when I was much younger and a very different person. My compromise here is that I went through and cleaned up some of the language and some of the prose so that I could be at peace with it from my current perspective. I still think it has major issues with pacing and depth, but I didn’t want to change too much about the story some of you still so fondly remember. 

So, in my next post on this blog, I will provide a link to the story, which will be posted on AO3, which I think will be more inclusive for everyone to be able to read as opposed to LJ. I will not be posting it anywhere else, but for now I am making a commitment to not ever take it down again unless something extremely major happens. 

I will humbly ask this one thing, and I hope I don’t offend anyone. Please comment? Even if it’s just to say “I remember reading this part and it was so _____ !!” or something to that effect. These things literally fuel my creativity and negative comments and criticism were the biggest reason I ultimately lost motivation for writing (this, and anything else I was working on). So I humbly ask, please tell me what you like about it still, if anything. You’ll have my never-ending gratitude. I’ll also be tracking #glamourverse if you want/happen to post anything on tumblr about it, I’d love to see it. I went through the entire blog in the past few days, reading past reblog tags from folks and it just...made me so happy. So if you post anything new, please tag #glamourverse so I can cry about it :)

I hope you all can forgive me for things taking so long, but I hope you can enjoy this story as you used to, and I hope it brings you some amount of comfort in these horrendous times. As always, I love you all, and you’ve always been so sweet to me. <3

Whilst I'm in the middle of all the reposting I've been going back through a lot of music and I recalled this from a few months ago. I have always hc'd Magnus' voice as Adam's and this cover has SUCH glamourverse Magnus vibes. Figured I'd share :)
