Aw thanks for asking!!! I’ll take this as an opportunity to do a lil update post!!

Less than 24 hours ago I just got back from overseas. I was in Japan for 5 and a half weeks! I went with my partner, as it was a proposal trip. I’m now engaged!

Buuuut since I was over there for so long, I have a lot of life things to catch up on. New job, new schedule… The fic is kinda last in that priority line for now.

I don’t want to put it on hiatus, because mentally that puts me in a writing block, but you can consider it on unofficial hiatus at the moment.

Sorry to people who were excited about another update soon! I’ve tried to keep them consistent, but I’m not that kind of writer sadly.

I do promise there is an ending, and since it’s my favorite fic I’ve ever done, I’m very committed to finishing it.

Wow finally made it around to me, huh? What is this train you’re on? Non-stop express to hate town? This has been going on for months, trying to sow discord in this community.

I hope you know what you’ve done has made people band together more than tear them apart.

I don’t care WHAT people do man. As long as it doesn’t hurt REAL, BREATHING PEOPLE.

If it does hurt real people? Then ABSOLUTELY it should be called out, shut down, and taken care of.

If it doesn’t? Okay. Great. Curate your own experience. That’s what the internet is. You are not a child. And if you are, LEARN how this works and stay out of 18+ content no matter what it contains! It’s that simple!

Have you seen the Japanese side of this fandom? I can’t consume a lot of that content because it triggers some of my own issues, (like just straight up gore!) but my god are they open, and accepting, because they understand the difference of what a fandom IS more than the western side, sadly.

I don’t even know if you’re a bot at this point. But I don’t care.

I know I’m giving this attention, and I hate that I am, but since you finally targeted me since I am a TINY, insignificant part of the submas sphere, (how much do I post, really? I did an event for fun twice!) I cannot shut up and lay down.

People can ship what they want. Because I will curate the experience on the internet I want. So guess what? I won’t SEE IT. I will block something if I don’t like it or if it makes me feel icky! I will filter my feed. I have done this for years because of my own issues. You can do it too! It’s not that hard!

I would like to say I have friends here in the submas fandom. I’d like to believe I do, even if we’ve had one conversation and liked each other’s content. The truth is I am not a social butterfly, I barely talk or interact with people, and I was terrified to interact with this fandom, FOR OVER A FUCKING YEAR BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU, even though I had nothing to EVEN DO with the situation!

So fuck it. Here is my massive wall of text to add to the conversation.

Top 5 pokemon go

Oh wow!! Thank you for the ask!! Hilariously I was just in a Pokemon center as I’m in Japan for a month. So. I answered this question today for myself! This ask is perfect on timing! Bravo!

This is in… I feel in no particular order. But number one is def number one spot, lol.

1. Gotta be Victini.

I played Black and White first as a 10 yo and due to having no consoles did a horrible job downloading it as a rom hack on my computer. (I ended up downloading so many viruses. Oh my god.) But my dumb child brain figured out how to make events work?? I felt so bad for victini being in that little room, so much like N… And then years later, I had a friend who let me rename their Victini from the event, and now I have Sigyn, my fav lil guy! I also just got a Victini plush from the Pokemon center! So def my favorite.

2. My shiny Sylveon!

My first ever shiny, I bred Eevees in Pokemon X until I got a shiny, and then let it evolve to a Sylveon. Funnily enough, I wasn’t keen on the aesthetic, but the meaning behind my Sylveon, Ryle, is just… means a lot, I guess? I love my male blue Sylveon. He’s like family. A true icon.

3. Snivy

Well, specifically my level 100 snivy, Celyn! I had no idea what I was doing and just didn’t let the little guy evolve. That was my starter and he’s just the most powerful little dude ever. Love him.

4. Reshiram

I really, really fell in love with Reshi, just the design, the meaning… ugh I love the Gen 5 games so much. But Reshiram always felt like… liberating. Truth means a lot to me. And while Ideals do too… truth has always been really central in my life. Plus the design of Reshiram lol. I love the dragon so much! It’s my comfort Pokemon.

5. Hisuian Sneasel

I never thought too much of Sneasel before I saw it with its new typing and variant. (And with Ingo) I always loved its little smirk and the teal but I just never clicked with it until the Hisuian variant fell in my lap. After that I went on an insane capture spree. I have. So many. Hisuian Sneasels. Love all the little buggers. My fav is my smallest one, Little Miss. And I adore Sneasler too! I think part of it was I didn’t really like Weaville and I thought it would just evolve without my asking which I wasn’t keen on. But now? Oh my god. From Johto or Hisui, I don’t care. I could fill my house with all the little lads and ladies. Love them all dearly.

Is the joltik parade only in-game screen shots? Can we draw the joltik?

Ah! The parade is USUALLY drawn Joltik. Although if you took a in-game screenshot of a Joltik and drew a costume on it, that would be accepted!

The only requirement is the Joltik must be in costume in the picture!

Hello. You’re probably wondering why I’m posting and it’s not the Trewyn show or art!

WELL

I’m here to tell you that unfortunately it might be a while until I’ll be able to do those things again. I just moved, had my cake day, got sick, am without internet (in a vortex of “no internet comes to this area”), have no furniture to set up my drawing stuff.

So it might be a while, aye. LOL
