Everyone needs that one band where you're pretty sure they probably don't appeal to anyone who wasn't born in the same 5-6 year period as you, and for me that band is Slime City (formerly We Are the Physics.) This is the band I saw last week and it's impossible to sing along to this song without the entire room gradually sounding increasingly Glaswegian on the word "Internet."

It’s school summer holidays in the early seventies and half a dozen adolescent boys from the sleepy suburbs are getting bored and looking for things to do. One of the crew spots that an up and coming jazz fusion band is playing at the Milngavie Town Hall this coming Saturday afternoon. “Everything Is Easy” by Dead Pony
A band that I had never heard of until last week called @deadponyband released their debut single, “Everything is Easy” on @labrecords. Dead Pony hail from Glasgow. The quartet, comprising of Anna Shields (lead vocals, guitar), Blair Crichton (lead guitar, backing vocals), Liam Adams (bass), and Aidan McAllister (drums), have been known for their high charged performances throughout Glasgow’s post-punk scene. “Everything is Easy” boils over with irony, caged anger and whatever that thing is that makes a song a relentless earworm.
