i saw your addition to a post abou uranium glass and was wondering, are you the person making the uranium glass teeth available on ebay? we've got one in our cabinet and it's everyone's favorite piece!
It is not I, I’m honestly kind of amazed that other ones exist. It was a difficult challenge.
I made my set as part of a larger installation of candy coloured oversized glass crystal gummy bears and teeth. Some examples below, they are usually displayed in a gallery in a fragile ~2ft pile.
It was quite difficult to get a clean cast of my mouth and enough of the raw uranium glass to make a glass set. I wonder if the person is melting down old uranium glass objects, if I wanted to explore it more that’s what I would do.
I’d love to see yours! How is there more than one of us making radioactive glass teeth??
