More painted rocks. Made some dotting tools out of glass, because I could. Need to refine the shapes a little; if the end is too round, it doesn't make very controllable dots. I've also been playing with graduated color a bit... I'm hampered by my reluctance to waste any paint, so I'm only mixing just barely enough to make a single row of dots at a time, which is quite fiddly. On the other hand, it means that I can do a heck of a lot of rocks with just a tiny travel kit, and since I'm just doing dots, I can wipe my tools with a rag instead of fussing with a jar of paint water. The rag in the picture contains all of the paint left over after about 25 painted rocks, including what I wiped off of my palette after mixing gradient colors.
