So like an idiot I am running around in the bog and there are scorchbeasts everywhere.  At least three of them.  While bravely running away I ended up in a part of the map I hadn’t explored before called Glassed Cavern.  My only concern was that it was a bolt hole, someplace underground where the beasties couldn’t follow me.  So into the mine I went.

It wasn’t so bad actually.  Lots of scorched but they aren’t much of a problem.  I was finding lots of good scrap and mining lots of some gold shiny stuff that I am sure will be useful someday.  

Then I came to the scene of an obviously fierce battle. Dead stuff everywhere:  mirelurk queens, fog crawlers, BoS dudes, and half a dozen scorchbeasts.  All dead, all lootable.  Woo hoo!  

I sneakily crept out into the larger area and there they were.  Scorchbeasts underground.  Several of them.  Big ones. Many levels higher than me.  And very, very pissed off.  

Out of the frying pan, into the fire..

Bravely then I hopped servers.  :)
